Festival of Innovation Projects SIKORSKY CHALLENGE

From October 29 to november 3, 2024 in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the ХІII Festival of Innovation Projects “Sikorsky Challenge 2024: innovations for peace and security of Ukraine" will be held.

The war put us in front of incredible challenges, forced us to realize new realities and develop new strategic tasks for the post-war period of recovery and development of Ukraine.

The paradigm of the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine should be based on the rapid and effective implementation of innovative technologies and developments in all areas of the country's security, defense and economy.

This year's 13th International Festival of Innovation Projects “Sikorsky Challenge 2024: innovations for peace and security of Ukraine" will be held in these very important areas of the rebuilding and recovery of Ukraine.

The Festival will take place in October 2024 at Igor Sikorsky KPI (Kyiv). Form of the event: mainly synchronous online mode.

As usually, the main events of the Festival will include:

Forum “Innovations in the Defense Industry”
International Forum “International Support for Innovative Transformation of Ukraine”
Demonstration of interactive functionality of the Sikorsky Challenge Immersive Virtual Exhibition for international partnerships
Thematic panel discussions
Results and plans of the acceleration programme “Sustainable City”
Exhibition of start-up projects, breakthrough scientific and technical developments
Final of the Competition of Innovation Startup Projects, which will be held in 7 sections:

section 1: Aviation, space, defense and security

section 2: Energy resilience and security
section 3: Environmental safety, green chemistry
section 4: Biomedical engineering and human health
section 5: Digital country, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity
section 6: Infrastructure, industrial high-tech
section 7: Agrotech and food security

From October 29 to november 3, members of the International Jury will have the possibility to ask questions, evaluate projects and select winners in the nominations:

The best project idea
The best technological solution
The best solving problems of potential customers
The best business model

Representatives of the investor companies will choose the projects of their interest; they will sign Protocols of Intent with the project teams to invest in the projects.
